People in Whittington are being invited to join a local running group.

They meet at 6pm every Thursday at The Bell car park.

Lyndon Williams, from the group, said:

> “The running group heads down the canal for a loop of Hopwas Woods and back across the ranges – anything from five to eight miles at paces to suit many abilities, with a nice social in the pub to finish.
