# People urged to go red in support of lifesaving charity

PEOPLE are being invited to Wear it Red in 2026 to support a lifesaving charity.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s annual fundraising event – sponsored by M6 Toll – will take place between 9th and 15th February.

Wear it Red sees people don colourful outfits as well as hosting red-themed activities.

People who register via [the charity’s website](https://www.midlandsairambulance.com/wearitred?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) will also receive a free digital resource pack full of inspiring fundraising ideas and tips.

Katey Taylor, Staffordshire fundraising executive at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said:

> “Wear it Red offers a fun and inspiring way for our Staffordshire supporters to help fund the lifesaving missions we carry out daily.
