# People urged to join Lichfield Festival Chorus for performance at Birmingham Grand Central

People in Lichfield and Burntwood are being invited to join a choir for a one off performance in Birmingham’s Grand Central Plaza.

The Lichfield Festival Choir will appear under the guidance of chorus master [Dominic Peckham](http://www.dominicpeckham.com/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) on June 6 before showcasing their talents once more at the festival on July 2.

A spokesperson said: “The Festival Chorus is a community choir that forms each year to take part in a performance.

“The chorus is free to join, does not audition, and this year does not require singers to be music readers as much of the work will be taught by rote.”

Members need to be available for rehearsals on May 13, 20 and June 5.
