# Permission granted for use of Burntwood industrial unit as indoor golf centre

PLANNING permission has been granted for an industrial unit in Burntwood to be used as an indoor golf simulation centre.

Lichfield District Council previously [refused to allow the change of use](https://lichfieldlive.co.uk/council-refuses-planning-permission-for-change-of-use-of-industrial-unit/) due to "insufficient evidence" relating to whether the unit was viable to remain as it was.

However, a new application has seen the change of use for the Drive In Golf facility at Cannel Road approved.

The site features five Trackman-powered bays so visitors can play courses from around the world.
