# Photography project aims to link Lichfield with American namesakes

A new photography project is set to connect Lichfield with namesakes across the Atlantic.

Burton College student Frances Wright is behind the scheme which will see Lichfield link up with the nine Litchfield’s in the USA.

Frances explained:

> “We are going to contact the Litchfields in the USA and we hope it will become an ongoing project to compare our cities and our traditions.

> “I am starting off by photographing the people of our own Lichfield and finding out a bit about their life, also a question that they’d like to ask people from one of the Litchfield’s in America.”  
>  
> “If you are from Lichfield and would like to be photographed and get involved, I’d love to hear from you!”
