A PROPERTY in Lichfield could be converted for use as a residential care site for young people with behavioural and emotional needs.

An application has been submitted for the building at Lunns Croft.

A planning statement said:

> “The proposal relates to the use of the property as a small-scale, specialist solo-placement children’s home, providing residential care for one child aged between seven and 18 with emotional, behavioural and trauma-related needs.

> “The home will operate as a family-style domestic environment, rather than an institutional or communal facility.  
>  
> “There will be, no public access, no commercial activity, no visiting patterns beyond normal professionals and family contact and no external signage or change to the building’s appearance.”
