PLANS to demolish a Chorley home and replace it with a new property have been drawn up.

The development is being proposed for the plot at Shute Hill Farm.

A planning statement said:

> "It is proposed to demolish the existing dwelling and construct a replacement farmhouse dwelling and additional detached annexe.

> "The replacement dwelling and annexe will sit largely on the footprint of the existing dwelling and outbuildings, replicating its current rectangular courtyard form.

> "The access and existing areas of hard surfacing will be maintained, although the access itself will be widened.

> "The proposals will retain much of the existing planting and landscaping across the site, in addition to putting forward a scheme of additional landscaping and ecological enhancements."
