Plans for five new properties to be built in Fazeley have been approved.

Land at Woodfield Close has been earmarked for the four bedroom properties.

A planning statement said the plot would be capable of accommodating the new homes.

> “The site is uncommonly large for one dwelling. It is surrounded by housing and buffered by a thin strip of land between the road and the site.

> “The demolition of the brick wall fronting the highway will ensure that the future development will have active frontages and ensure good continuity between the street scene and the site.
