# Police appeal for information on missing Burntwood man

Police are trying to find a missing Burntwood man.

Steven Edwards, 28, from Cort Drive, has not been seen since August 11.

He is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall and has short, receding, fair hair, is stocky and has a pale complexion. It is not known what he is wearing, but he was believed to be carrying a khaki brown rucksack.

Insp Rachel Joyce, of Lichfield District Local Policing Team, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Steven as he has now not been seen or heard from for a week.

“This is very out of character for him and we are working closely with colleagues from the Metropolitan Police to locate him as our inquiries have established he was last seen in the Heathrow area of London.

“Anyone who has seen Steven or has any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 626 of August 17.”
