# Police praise response to appeal after missing Kings Bromley girl is found

Police have praised the power of social media after a missing girl from Kings Bromley was found safe and well.

The 17-year-old had been missing from her home and was last seen in Tamworth.

But officers have now confirmed she was found in the early hours of this morning in the Sheffield area.

“Thank you to everyone who shared the appeal,” a Staffordshire Police spokesperson said. “It reached more than 241,500 people on Facebook and was shared 2,570 times.”
