FINAL preparations are taking place ahead of the return of the Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park.

The popular free event on 5th September, will feature an evening of live music and entertainment followed by a fireworks finale.

A spokesperson said:

> "Pack a picnic, bring your family and friends, and enjoy performances from the British Police Symphony Orchestra, special guest vocalists, the City of Lichfield Concert Band and a fantastic programme of music, all building to the finale fireworks.
