# Preparations underway for Lichfield’s Carols in the Park concert

The finishing touches are being added ahead of Lichfield’s Carols in the Park concert.

Taking place outside Beacon Park’s Swinfen Broun Pavilion on Saturday (December 11) at 5pm, the event will see residents come together to sing along to some of their festive favourites.

Councillor Val Richards, Cabinet Member for Leisure Services, said:

> “Get into the spirit of Christmas and come along to a free carol concert in Beacon Park. Don’t forget to wrap up warm and bring a torch and your singing voice.”

Father Christmas will also be visiting the concert and mince pies and hot drinks will also be available.
