He said: “It’s important to me that Turnpike is a hub, a venue for the local people and an integral part of the community. “I’ve seen the great work We Love Lichfield do help make the community a better place and I simply want to make my contribution and give something back. “We’ll be holding various events to raise money and to start it all off is a fun-packed day on Sunday. The event kicks of at noon before visitors have the chance to enjoy a special English menu and games. “We ask everyone to come dressed in fancy dress,” Martin added. “It’s all about having fun and helping raise some money for our local area.”
