The Queen is set to visit Lichfield to present medals to soldiers.

The Royal Mercian and Lancastrian Yeomanry will receive their awards at Lichfield Cathedral on July 20.

The [BBC confirmed](http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-13752063?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) that she will attend a homecoming parade and thanksgiving service following the return of troops from Afghanistan.
