# Reform UK member of Lichfield City Council now sitting as independent member

A REFORM councillor is now sitting as an independent member of Lichfield City Council.

Cllr Dean Robertson became the first member of the party to win a seat on Lichfield City Council when he won a Stowe ward by-election in February 2025.

At the time of his victory, [Reform UK said](https://lichfieldlive.co.uk/new-reform-uk-lichfield-councillor-believes-more-success-will-follow-for-the-party-at-county-council-elections/) his success had "helped to establish the grassroots" of the party in Lichfield.

However, his listing on the Lichfield City Council website no longer lists him as a representative of the party.

Cllr Robertson has not responded to requests for comment about the change.

But a Reform UK spokesperson said:

> "Cllr Robertson has been suspended from Reform UK pending investigation."
