# Regency period brought to life at the Staffordshire Regiment Museum

The Regency period will be brought to life at [the Staffordshire Regiment Museum](http://www.staffordshireregimentmuseum.com/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) this weekend.

The Harvington Household dancers will be entertaining visitors with period moves, while redcoat soldiers will discuss their lives during the times of the Napoleonic Wars.

A spokesperson said: “There’ll also be a circus skills display and a Regency-themed children’s art activity.

“Carrying on the theme, the museum is delighted to announce the opening of a spectacular display of Napoleonic figures, exquisitely made by French craftsmen. These figures are enormously rare and show breath-taking attention to detail.”

The event – on Sunday (September 20) – will also feature a pop-up tea room, antiques and militaria stalls.

Entry is £4 for adults, £3 for concessions and £10 for a family ticket and include access to the entire museum including the WW1 trench system.

Doors open at 11am and the event closes at 4pm.
