# Ribbon to be cut on new-look fire station in Barton-under-Needwood

The ribbon is set to be cut on the new fire station at Barton-under-Needwood.

Lady Hilda Clarke will officially open the Short Lane facility this evening (July 16).

Orginally built in 1965, the station has been upgraded to include a community room and emergency services partnership room.
