# Santa to take centre stage at Fazeley Christmas market

Santa with Marie Bull from Bromford Living

Community groups and local organisations are coming together for a Christmas market in Fazeley.

The event, which takes place at Fazeley Town Hall on December 3 from 11am to 3pm, will feature craft stalls, sugarcraft demonstrations, face painting, a hamper raffle, a lucky dip, tombolla and lolly game.

There will also be the chance to talk with representatives from local agencies and clubs, including Fazeley and District Initiative, Bromford Living, Staffordshire Police, Midland Air Ambulance and Neighbourhood Watch.

Santa will also be making an appearance thanks to Tamworth Round Table. He will be giving out a small present to every child who visits him.

Councillor Colin Greatorex, Lichfield District Council’s cabinet member for organisational development and community, said: “Fazeley Christmas Market is a great way to start the festive season.

“It will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate as a community, and a big thank you must go to all the groups and volunteers that are working hard to put on a fantastic event.”
