A LICHFIELD school holiday camp provider has been named a finalist in the UK Small Business Awards.

JC Academy has been shortlisted in the Best Family Business category.

The company runs Ofsted-registered holiday camps for children aged five to 12 every school holiday at venues including Darwin Hall and Streethay Primary School.

Jaime Craven, from JC Academy, said:

> "We're so proud to be named a finalist. JC Academy has always been a family business at heart, and this is really down to our brilliant team and the families who trust us with their children every holiday.
>
> "Being recognised alongside small businesses from across the UK means a lot to all of us."

The national top ten will be announced at the awards ceremony in Birmingham in December.
