# Science fun on offer at Lichfield’s Erasmus Darwin House

Visitors are being invited to try their hand at a range of science experiments at Lichfield’s Erasmus Darwin House.

To mark [National Science and Engineering Week](http://www.nsew.org.uk/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk), the museum will be offering people the chance to put a skewer through a balloon without bursting it, use a video microscope to look at cells and even observe heart, lung and liver dissections in the cellars where Dr Darwin held anatomical lectures of his own.

Alison Wallis, manager of the museum, said:

> “Every year this has turned out to be such an exciting event. It’s great that we can put on so many science activities but, at the same time, making them fun, easy and accessible – just the way science should be!”
