Burntwood Town moved five points clear of the bottom after a morale-boosting victory over Enville Athletic.

The 4-2 triumph means Mike Gentles’ men can enjoy their Christmas knowing another win could see them climb another place away from the basement.

And they will get that opportunity on Saturday (December 28) when they travel to near neighbours Barton United.
