Seth Lakeman has been forced to cancel his appearance at the [Lichfield Festival](http://www.lichfieldfestival.org/site/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk).

He was due to perform on July 16, but unforseen family commitments have forced the cancellation of his concert.

A spokesperson for the Lichfield Festival said:

> “Seth’s Management and the Lichfield Festival are in discussions to bring Seth to the 2010 Lichfield Festival. In the meantime a replacement is being urgently sought.”
