Singers are being invited to join a special performance at the Lichfield Festival.

People of all ages and abilities are needed to join the Festival Chorus at Lichfield Cathedral on July 9.

The performance marks the culmination of the three-year Hear My Voice community project.

Participants are working with composer Kate Pearson to write music and lyrics for new songs to be performed at the concert.

Rehearsals for the concert will begin in June and anyone wanting to get involved can contact the Festival office on 01543 306270 or via [email](mailto:education@lichfieldfestival.org).
