# Sir Bob Geldof set to perform at the Lichfield Garrick

The Lichfield Garrick is set to welcome legendary performer and fundraiser Sir Bob Geldof to the city.

He will perform songs from his new album along with hits by The Boomtown Rats during a two-night run at the theatre on May 22 and 23.

A spokesperson added: “Sir Bob co-wrote Do They Know It’s Christmas for Band Aid which was one of the best-selling singles of all time.

“In total, Live Aid raised over £150 million for famine relief.”
