The green, green grass of Beacon Park will play host to Sir Tom Jones this summer.

Sir Tom Jones

The veteran vocalist will be in Lichfield on June 12.

Lee O’Hanlon, from concert organiser tinyCOW, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing Sir Tom to Lichfield as this is a real first for the city.

“He’s truly a living legend, with an irresistible and exciting show that crosses musical eras and genres and appeals to young and old, male and female, mainstream and cutting edge.

“Sir Tom has always been about the power of the song and the power of the voice.”

The show will take place in a 10,000 capacity marquee.
