Skinny Molly will stop off in the city on October 29 as part of a rare UK tour.

The band have developed a reputation for a highly energetic live set that has seen them perform at festivals across the globe.

Lichfield Arts artistic director Chris Newcombe said: “Fans of the southern rock genre, popularised by such talented acts as The Allman Brothers and Lynrd Skynyrd, will be in for a treat when they see Skinny Molly.

“These musicians play the music how it should be played – fast, loud and with passion.

“If you like virtuoso musicianship, aimed at giving the audience a good time, we expect to see you there.”
