# St Giles Hospice looking for new finance trustee

A finance specialist is being asked to become a trustee at St Giles Hospice.

The charity, which is based in Whittington, is looking for a new board member.

Applicants should be qualified accountants.

Charles Theaker, chairman of the St Giles Hospice trustees, said: “This is an important appointment for us following recent retirements.

“Being a Trustee is a worthwhile and interesting experience, particularly during such challenging times as we currently face. Trustees are integral to the strategic development and governance of our charity.”

Trustees serve the charity on a voluntary basis. The new member will need to attend quarterly finance governance meetings and trustee board meetings.
