LICHFIELD City will go in search of a first win of the season when they return to action in midweek.

Matty Lovatt's men have found the going tough in the opening fixtures in the Northern Premier League West Division, losing their first three games and conceding 14 goals along the way.

Those results have left City rock bottom of the early season table as they welcome Stafford Rangers to the Trade Tyre Community Stadium this evening (19th August).

The visitors have only played one league game so far this season, running out 2-0 victors at Vauxhall Motors thanks to goals from Joe Dunne and Darrhyl Mason.

Kick-off tonight is at 7.45pm.
