# Staffordshire Police unveils new hybrid vehicles

Police in Staffordshire have unveiled the latest additions to their fleet of crime-fighting vehicles.

The first three hybrid Volvo V60 Cross Country models are being deployed in the county.

A further 33 vehicles will be coming into service over the next few months.

John Bloomer, from Staffordshire Police, said

> “As well as being greener and better for the environment, our new vehicles will help to keep the public safe, and support enhanced response times from our new approach to local policing.
