Stained glass windows were smashed during a break-in at a Burntwood church.

A pair of internal wooden doors were also damaged during the raid on Christ Church, on Church Road.

The offenders – who struck between 4pm on February 9 and 8am on February 10 – are believed to have searched the premises but not taken anything.

Anyone with information on the incident, or who saw/heard suspicious activity at Christ Church, is asked to contact PC Mark Booth at Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 187 of February 10, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
