# Stalls and activities for children sought ahead of fun day event in Lichfield

Stalls and activities are being sought for a summer fun day in Lichfield.

The event will take place in Beacon Park on 3rd August and will feature inflatables, a carousel, sports and games.

Lichfield District Council is on the lookout for more stalls and companies that run activities aimed at children.

Cllr Andy Smith, cabinet member for leisure, said:

> “The fun day is an event aimed at children and young people, and is a great way for the whole family to spend a summer’s day outdoors enjoying the many activities on offer.

> “We hope to attract extra stalls and have even more activities on offer to make it our best fun day yet.”

As well as activities, charities and clubs are also invited to take up a stall at the event.
