# Strike action to close Chase Terrace Technology College

Chase Terrace Technical College

Chase Terrace Technology College has confirmed that strike action will force it to close for a day.

The school is currently the only establishment in Burntwood to announce complete closure because of industrial [action by the NUT ](http://www.teachers.org.uk/node/13348?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk)and ATL teaching unions on June 30.

[We reported earlier this week](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2011/06/24/burntwood-schools-set-to-be-hit-by-strike-action/) that only three schools – Boney Hay Primary, Fulfen Primary and St Joseph And St Theresa Catholic Primary – were able to confirm that they will open as usual.

Others face partial closure with individual classes being asked not to attend.
