LICHFIELD will take on fellow strugglers Cannock this weekend.

The city side suffered a heavy defeat to Hammerwich last time out to leave them rooted to the foot of the South Staffordshire Cricket League Premier Division.

But Cannock sit just two places above Lichfield – although they did enjoy a 55-run triumph in their previous outing against Walsall.

Play is scheduled to get underway at midday tomorrow (23rd August).
