# Students visit Lichfield from twin town in Germany

Two students have been visiting Lichfield from the city’s twin town in Germany.

The 18-year-olds from Limburg an der Lahn were welcomed by the Mayor and Mayoress of Lichfield, Councillors Brian and Norma Bacon.

Julia Vasilieva spent three weeks on placement at St Michael’s School, while Jessica Gerwien is spending six weeks on placement with the library service.

Julia said:

> “I will never forget my stay in Lichfield, it was such a happy time.”
