A SUPERMARKET has handed over an eggs-cellent donation to a local community group.

The gift was given to Spark Burntwood by the local Morrisons store.

A spokesperson said:

> “A huge thank you to Morrisons for their kind and generous donation of Easter eggs.

> “These would have gone to waste due to damaged boxes, but they’ll now be shared with local families instead.
