# Talented youngsters selected to perform in Lichfield Garrick show

Twelve talented local children have been selected to perform in a new production at the Lichfield Garrick.

The youngsters battled through X-Factor style auditions to win a place amongst a cast of 50 for Walsall Operatic Society’s production of Fiddler on the Roof.

The show features favourites such as Sunrise Sunset, To Life! and If I Were A Rich Man.

Choreographer Charlotte Mills said: “It was fantastic to see such amazing young talent at the auditions.

“We’re so lucky to be working with these children and we can’t wait for our audiences to see them joining us for the brilliant Fiddler on The Roof.”

The children are now busy rehearsing with the cast.
