# Thousands sign up for Ride to the Wall at the National Memorial Arboretum

More than 5,000 people have signed up for the annual Ride to the Wall at the National Memorial Arboretum.

Bikers and passengers from across the UK will head for Alrewas on October 3 to show their support for the Armed Forces.

Sarah Montgomery, managing director of the Arboretum, said: “We are delighted to see that so many motorcyclists have yet again pledged their support for Ride to the Wall.

“The event is a wonderful spectacle and a very moving tribute to members of the Armed Forces who lost their lives in service to their country.”

There will also be entertainment at the Arboretum during the day, including performances from the Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team – the White Helmets, a Tiger Moth flypast and poppy drop, and music from The Band and Bugles of The Rifles.
