Crowds enjoying the Lichfield Proms

The free musical spectacular tool place in Beacon Park on Saturday (7th September).

The outdoor event featured music from the City of Lichfield Concert Band and the British Police Symphony Orchestra.

Councillor Liz Little, Cabinet member for leisure at Lichfield District Council, said: “Lichfield Proms in the beautiful surroundings of Beacon Park is the perfect way to end the summer.

“We had amazing music and singing, fireworks and a fantastic crowd that waved their flags, sang along and cheered throughout the concert.

“It’s a huge event to stage and I would like to thank all the proms team who work so hard to organise it, as well as our sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who made a donation on the night – we couldn’t have done it without your kind support.”
