THREE people have been arrested after a man’s death in Burntwood.

Emergency services were called to a property on Hazel Grove shortly before 9am this morning (5th May) after reports of two men fighting.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

> “Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

> “A man was found with significant injuries at the scene. Sadly, nothing could be done to save him and he was pronounced dead shortly after 10am.

> “A dog was also found inside the house with suspected stab wounds and has been taken to a vet for treatment.  
>  
> “Officers have put a cordon in place at the home and have launched an investigation to understand the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.  
>  
> “Two men – aged 32 and 27 – and a woman, aged 33, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.”
