# Three more charged over Chasetown man’s murder

Three more men have been charged with the murder of a Burntwood man.

Richard Deakin

Richard Deakin, 27, was shot in bed at his Meadway Street home in Chasetown in 2010.

Andrew Hill (49), of Constantine Way, Bilston, Leigh Astbury (31), from the Wolverhampton area, and John Anslow (31), from the Bilston area, have today (January 18) been charged with Mr Deakin’s murder.

They have been remanded in custody to appear before magistrates in Cannock tomorrow.

Earlier this month, two other men, Darryl Dickens (33) and David Harrison (62), both from the Bilston area, were also [charged with Mr Deakin’s murder](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2012/01/05/two-charged-over-chasetown-mans-murder-in-2010/). Harrison was also charged with robbery and the possession of a firearm – both relating to an incident in Dudley in January 2008.

Dickens and Harrison were remanded in custody and are next due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on March 23.
