The Climax Blues Band

The band are back at the Guildhall on April 1 as they celebrate 50 years on the road.

The group, which consists of keyboard player and backing vocalist George Glover, drummer Roy Adams, Lester Hunt on guitar and backing vocals, bassist Neil Simpson, saxophonist Chris Aldridge and vocalist Graham Dee, deliver sets featuring both original songs and covers of hits by many writers from the blues, jazz and rock scene.

Lichfield Arts Vice President Stuart Davies said: “The Climax Blues Band have a storied career, and their success as a band has been hard-won.

“They combine a good time ethos with serious musical talent.”
