POLICE are trying to trace thieves who stole timber from a housing development in Fradley.

It was taken between 4.30pm on Wednesday (6th May) and 7am the following day from the Belway Homes site.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

> “A large quantity of CLS timber was stolen. It is believed that the offenders have climbed over the fencing and opened the gate.

> “They would have needed a vehicle to transport the amount taken.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 101, quoting incident 161 of 7th May.
