THE operator of the M6 Toll is backing a scheme supporting the health and wellbeing of professional drivers.

The partnership with the Road Haulage Association will see free health checks offered as part of a week-long event.

Drivers will have access to a health hub at Roadchef Norton Canes on the M6 Toll on 2nd September.

Sarah Gourlay, head of business development at M6 Toll said:

> "We’re proud to be sponsoring these important health checks as part of the Driver Health Week.
>
> "Professional drivers play a vital role in keeping the country moving, but the demands of life on the road can make it difficult to prioritise their own health and wellbeing.
>
> "By supporting the health hub, we’re helping to make free health assessments and professional advice more accessible to drivers while they’re out on the road. It also reinforces our commitment to being a genuine partner to the haulage and logistics industry, helping to support safer, healthier and less stressful journeys."
