TONY Christie is set to perform at an event in Whittington.

The singer will be a special guest at a coffee and music event at Thomas Spencer Hall which runs from 10am to 2pm on 16th August.

Admission is £10 with funds raised going to Alzheimer’s UK.

A spokesperson said:

> “Over his 60 year career, Tony has sold millions of records and entertained countless fans worldwide.

> “In recent years he has sought to help others by going public with his own dementia diagnosis to raise awareness of the benefits of music for those living with the condition.”
