The latest stage in the development of a new care home in Lichfield has seen a topping off ceremony carried out.

The topping out ceremony at The Spires care home

The Spires site on Stafford Road will be a 70-bed care home providing residential and dementia care for older people.

The home, operated by Barchester Healthcare, will also include a hair salon and bistro area.

Lorna Rose, Divisional Director for The Spires, said: “The topping out ceremony brings us a step closer to the day we welcome residents.

“I would like to thank everyone locally for the warm welcome we have already received and look forward to extending our hospitality to the local community when our show suite opens in April.”
