# Town council chair pays tribute to staff at Burntwood care home

THE chair of Burntwood Town Council has praised the efforts of staff at a local care home.

Cllr Kathy Coe visited Chasewater Mews to meet staff and residents as they enjoyed an outdoor event featuring live music and food.

She said:

> “The residents were encouraged to get up and dance to their favourite songs.

> “There was information about lots of activities they have planned – it was really ncie to see that there is so much for residents to do.

> “From speaking to the care staff and chefs, it was clear that they take a great deal of pride in their work and have great relationships with colleagues and the residents.

> “Family members of residents also told me how settled their relatives were and how good the activities and staff teams are.”
