**EXCLUSIVE:** Friends of a Lichfield man killed after being hit by a train on a level crossing have been paying tribute to him.

Stuart Turner died after being hit by a train at the Station Road crossing in Barlaston at around 8pm on Friday.

His Facebook [profile](http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=591753840&v=wall&viewas=1304232653#) and a [tribute group](http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=62806116819#/group.php?gid=62806116819) set up in his memory have been inundated with messages.

One friend said:

> “Words can’t describe any of this. I can’t believe I’m never going to see you again. You will never be forgotten.”

Another friend added:

> “I’m so shocked to hear you’ve been taken from us. I have so many happy memories of you. You will be sadly missed.”
