Twist and Pulse on the new Ben 10 ride

A theme park near Lichfield has opened its new ride – with the help of TV dance stars Twist and Pulse.

The new Ben 10: Ultimate Mission rollercoaster has been built at Drayton Manor Theme Park and was unveiled at a VIP event yesterday (April 21).

Britain’s Got Talent runners-up Twist and Pulse performed for the crowds before trying out the new ride for themselves.

Colin Bryan, managing director of Drayton Manor, said:

> “It’s been a fantastic turnout for the launch. We are so very proud of what we achieve at this theme park as a family. Our aim is to provide a fantastic, entertaining experience for all our visitors and we hope this latest addition will do just that.”

The new ride is the first of its kind in Europe, launching riders forwards on their first tour of the 180m track, hitting speeds of 55kph and a g-force of 3, before returning travelling backwards along the same route.
