Creative clay models were the order of the day at a twig man event in Lichfield.

Beacon Park hosted the session on Saturday (May 13) with participants going on a scavenger hunt to find natural items to make their objects.

Creations included a unicorn, a fairy, people and a swan.

Ruth Witczak, from Lichfield District Council’s parks team, said: “It was a lovely event, despite the threat of rain, and brilliant to see the beaming smiles of people delighted with their creations.

It was also a pleasant surprise that adults joined in the fun as well as children.”
