# Venue celebrates after hosting 100th wedding

A LOCAL venue is celebrating after hosting its 100th wedding.

Blackbrook Barns reached the milestone 18 months after welcoming its first couple down the aisle.

The 100th ceremony was reached when Tor Harris and Craig Jeavons tied the knot.

Family-run Blackbrook Barns saw the former antiques centre transformed by entrepreneurs Kevin Sharkey and Peter James.

The initial redevelopment saw the creation of retail units, before a £450,000 investment in April 2024 to create a dedicated wedding venue.

Kevin said:

> "Reaching our 100th wedding is a fantastic milestone and one we're incredibly proud of. Seeing so many couples begin the next chapter of their lives at Blackbrook Barns has made all the hard work worthwhile.
